Job summary

hth companies is seeking a Travel Millwright to repair, maintain, and install industrial equipment across the Midwest. The role involves reading highly technical instructions, blueprints, and schematics to work on pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and piping in varied conditions.

The candidate should be able to operate a range of tools, perform welding, brazing, and cutting, and read complex guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Thorough understanding of safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, and install industrial equipment following blueprints and specs.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, align, and adjust piping, valves, pumps, and related equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure machines meet specifications and perform adjustments as needed.
• Dismantle existing equipment and gather parts for repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections of facilities.
• Maintain safety records and support site safety programs.
