Job summary

Solaris Energy is seeking a Microgrid Field Engineer to design, commission, and maintain power systems behind data center infrastructure. This field-based role requires frequent travel to customer sites across the continental U.S. and strong on-site problem-solving skills.

You will work with relay protection schemes, FAT, and power delivery components while upholding safety and quality standards. A degree in engineering and hands-on electrical experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred or equivalent experience considered.
• 0-2 years of experience in power systems design, analysis, testing, or field service; travel 75%+ to U.S. sites.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites nationwide to commission, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical power systems and microgrids.
• Serve as on-site technical contact diagnosing and resolving complex electrical issues.
• Develop, program, test, and troubleshoot protective relay settings and schemes for high-voltage equipment.
