Job summary

Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. in Houston, TX seeks an Electrical Engineer with a recent degree to design, build, commission, and maintain power infrastructure behind mission-critical data centers. You will develop single-line and control diagrams, and build ETAP models under supervision.

The role involves 25% travel to FATs, commissioning, and site visits, with mentorship from senior engineers to grow into a lead engineering role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; recent graduate considered.
• 0–1 year experience in power systems design, analysis, testing, or field service is a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~25% across the continental U.S. and reside in the continental U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise medium/low voltage drawings (one-line, three-line diagrams, control/relaying schematics).
• Build ETAP models for microgrid and power delivery projects; conduct load flow and short-circuit studies.
• Support FAT and field commissioning activities at customer sites.
• Travel to site ~25% to support commissioning and gain hands-on field exposure.
• Mentor with senior engineers to learn protective relay settings for MV equipment.
