Role
As a
Travel, Meetings & Events Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of internal and external meetings and events. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the firm to ensure every detail is handled with care, including:
- Coordinating logistics for a wide range of events—from intimate meetings to large-scale programs
- Supporting site selection, vendor communications, and contract negotiations
- Managing event registration, RSVP tracking, and attendee communication (including use of CVENT)
- Organizing food, transportation, A/V, and other event essentials
- Preparing event materials like name tags, agendas, and branded giveaways
- Assisting with budget tracking, invoice processing, and post-event reporting
- Serving as on-site support to ensure events run smoothly from start to finish
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings:
- 3+ years of event planning or coordination experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, and CMP or CSEP certification is a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills with sharp attention to detail
- Clear, professional communication and a client-focused mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently
Compensation
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in the Bay Area. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Kirkland & Ellis, we consider compensation more than just a base salary. Compensation Range
- Bay Area: $83,000 - $90,000
