You don’t need a legal background—just strong organization skills, a collaborative spirit, and a service-first mindset. Role

As a Travel, Meetings & Events Coordinator, you’ll support the planning and execution of internal and external meetings and events. Your responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating logistics for a range of events—from meetings to large-scale programs
  • Supporting site selection, vendor communications, and contract negotiations
  • Managing event registration, RSVP tracking, and attendee communication (including use of CVENT)
  • Organizing food, transportation, A/V, and other essentials
  • Preparing event materials like name tags, agendas, and branded giveaways
  • Assisting with budget tracking, invoices, and post-event reports
  • Providing on-site support to ensure smooth event execution
What You’ll Bring

We seek someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possesses:

  • 3+ years of event planning or coordination experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, CMP or CSEP certification is a plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication and a client-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently
Compensation

The salary range for this position in the Bay Area is $83,000 - $90,000, depending on experience and other factors. Kirkland & Ellis offers comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, paid time off, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
