Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS seeks a Field Service Technician/Engineer to lead installation, updates, and service of medical devices across hospitals in the United States. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals and manage on-site support, documentation, and data records.

The role requires 3–5 years field service experience, strong computer skills, and a valid driver license. It is a 100% travel position with 40+ hour weeks and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent biomedical/technical field service experience.
• 3–5 years field service experience.
• Strong computer troubleshooting skills across multiple software programs.
• Professional business acumen and effective communication skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or collaboratively.
• Active and unrestricted driver license with a personal vehicle.
• Ability to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Willingness to clear hospital credentialing requirements and immunization status.
• Position may require up-to-date immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team installing, updating and servicing medical devices in hospitals.
• Provide ongoing communication and support to on-site hospital staff.
• Test, install, configure hardware, software, and network products.
• Document and submit daily data with high-quality records.
• Travel 40+ hours per week; assignment-based schedule.
• Attend to travel locally, regionally, and nationally.
