Leidos QTC Health Services in Orlando, FL is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support our local clinic on-site. The role includes front and back-office duties, patient interviews, blood draws, and specimen preparation under physician direction.

Minimum education is a High School diploma/GED with 1+ year MA experience, with higher levels requiring more years or an AA in Medical Assisting. A valid national MA certification and BLS within 30 days are required.

Formación

• HS Diploma with 1–3 years MA experience
• HS Diploma with 3–5 years MA experience
• HS Diploma with 5–10 years MA experience
• AA in Medical Assisting or Military equivalent (Medic/Hospital Corpsman)
• National Certification from NHA, AAMA, NAHP, AMT or NCCT
• BLS certification required within 30 days of starting
• U.S. Driver’s license and ability to travel between work locations

Responsabilidades

• Work as a team with clinic staff
• Perform front and back-office duties including phones and data entry
• Assist in patient examination under physician supervision
• Interview patients and record information on charts
• Draw and collect blood and urine samples
• Prepare specimens for lab analysis
• Conduct diagnostic tests (ECGs, PFTs, Doppler)
