Job summary

Leidos QTC Health Services seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our Aurora, CO clinic. You will interact with patients daily, helping ensure a smooth, compassionate, and efficient patient experience under physician direction.

The role involves front/back-office duties, specimen collection, basic diagnostic tests, and strong teamwork. On-the-job training is provided, with travel up to 70% as needed to support multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience/education as MA at multiple levels ranging from 0–10 years.
• Graduate from accredited MA program with MA certificate/diploma.
• National MA certification required from one of listed associations: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, AMT, NCCT.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start.
• May require WA MA license if applicable.
• Valid US driver’s license and ability to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team
• Perform routine front and back-office duties (phones, data entry)
• Assist in patient examinations under physician direction
• Interview patients
• Record information on patients' charts
• Draw and collect blood and/or urine samples
• Prepare specimens for lab analysis
• Conduct diagnostic tests (EKG, PFTs, Doppler, etc.)

Bilingual (EN/ES) preferred

Education

HS Diploma w/ 0-1 yr MA exp

HS Diploma w/ 1-3 yrs MA exp

HS Diploma w/ 3-5 yrs MA exp

AA in Medical Assisting

MA certificate/diploma

National Certification (NHA/AAMA/NAHP/AMT/NCCT)

BLS certification within 30 days

WA MA License (if applicable)

Valid US Driver's License
