Job summary

Leidos QTC Health Services seeks a full-time Medical Assistant for our Fairfax, VA clinic. The role involves direct patient interaction, front and back-office duties, and support to providers.

Candidates should have the appropriate MA education/certifications, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and be willing to travel up to 70% if required. Training is provided on-site with standard Monday–Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with MA credential or equivalent required.
• National Certification from recognized MA associations preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team.
• Perform routine front and back-office duties including phones and data entry.
• Assist in examination under physician direction.
• Interview patients and record information.
• Draw/determine blood or urine samples.
• Prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Conduct diagnostic tests (EKG, PFTs, Doppler).
