Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for night shifts in Lewiston, Maine. This Med Surg assignment offers a 12-week contract with pay up to $672–$768 gross per shift, equivalent to $56–$64 per hour, plus a $3/hour differential.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• One year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists director with daily department operations, staffing and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
