Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for night shifts in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers competitive pay, up to $64 per hour (equivalent to $672–$768 per shift) with weekly pay and an additional $3/hour differential.

Responsibilities include supporting department operations, supervising staff, ensuring resources, delivering direct patient care as needed, coordinating with physicians, and maintaining high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have current state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintain current.
• PALS (AHA) required on hire and maintain current.
• At least 1 year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
