Job summary
Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for night shifts in Lewiston, ME, to join a dedicated Med Surg team on a 12-week assignment. You will provide direct patient care, supervise staff during shifts, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes, with weekly pay and an additional $3/hour differential.
Candidates must hold an active RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials, with at least one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing
- BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained
- ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained
- PALS (AHA) required on hire and maintained
- Minimum 1 year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
- Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members.
- Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards.
- Provide direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
- Monitor patient care plans and direct necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Support a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
- Oversee staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift
