Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Nights shifts, with up to $672–$768 gross per shift and a $56–$64 hourly rate. Immediate opportunities, weekly pay, and a $3/hour differential enhance base pay.

You’ll support department operations and patient care alongside an award‑winning team. Required RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, plus at least one year as a charge nurse in Med Surg.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) required at hire and maintained.
• One year of Med Surg charge nurse experience preferred.
• PALS (AHA) required at hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
