Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse in Lewiston, Maine for a 12-week assignment on the night shift. You will provide direct patient care, supervise staff when needed, and support department operations in a high-volume medical-surgical unit.

The role offers weekly pay, a $3/hour differential, and collaborations with award-winning hospital partners. Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required, with at least one year of charge nurse experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting required.
• PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
