Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for the Med Surg department in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers Nights shifts and pay per shift up to $768 gross, equivalent to $64 per hour, with weekly pay.

You will assist with department operations, supervise staff, ensure efficient use of resources, and provide direct patient care as needed. Required: active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
