Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, ME. The role supports the Med Surg department with nights shifts, providing direct patient care and care coordination.

Earn compensation up to $672-$768 per shift (about $56-$64/hour) with a $3/hour differential. Our partner hospitals offer award-winning settings and dedicated career specialists to assist throughout the travel journey.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) Certification required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) Certification required at hire and maintained.
• One year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting required.
• PALS (AHA) Certification required at hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with daily department operations and staffing.
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate unit team members.
• Ensure efficient use of resources and equipment.
• Maintain high-quality patient care standards.
• Provide direct patient care within scope as needed.
• Monitor care plans and coordinate necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve outcomes.
• Support a safe, patient-centered care environment.
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during shifts.

This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
