Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 12-week, night-shift assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will support department operations, supervise staff, and deliver direct patient care as needed to maintain high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, plus at least one year of charge nurse experience in a Med/Surg setting. A dynamic clinical environment and dedicated career specialists await.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.

• Pay: up to $672 - $768 gross pay per shift; equivalent to $56.00 - $64.00 per hour.
