Confidential is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a nights shift at a premier hospital in Lewiston, Maine. The 12‑week assignment offers competitive pay and a flexible, supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, directing patient care, coordinating with physicians, and maintaining high-quality, safe care. Strong clinical skills and Maine license are required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting.

• Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members.
• Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient care plans and direct necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Support a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment.
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.

• Pay: up to $672 - $768 gross pay per shift; equivalent to $56.00 - $64.00 per hour.
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks
