Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for nights in Lewiston, Maine. The assignment spans 12 weeks with a fast-paced, patient-centered Med Surg unit and an opportunity to work with award-winning hospital partners.

Expected duties include supervising staff, managing department operations, and delivering direct patient care as needed, while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) current upon hire.
• ACLS (AHA) current upon hire.
• Minimum one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.
• PALS (AHA) current upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.

• Pay: up to $672 - $768 gross pay per shift; equivalent to $56.00 - $64.00 per hour.

This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
