Strong candidates hold an RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least one year as a charge nurse in Med Surg. Immediate opportunities with weekly pay and dedicated support are provided.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license is required.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Previous one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members.
• Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient care plans and direct necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Support a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment.
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $60.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
