Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a detail-oriented MDS float candidate for NC/VA travel assignments, covering open MDS positions and staying bedside with families. Responsibilities include providing MDS coverage, educating on RAI, PPS, QM measures, and collaborating with the Clinical Reimbursement Specialist on onboarding new MDSCs.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as RN or LPN with ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
• Minimum of three (3) years MDS experience in a long-term care setting.
• Travel to centers up to 100% of the time with overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide MDS coverage for open positions and educate/implement RAI, PPS, QM measures, Medicaid casemix, and Medicare guidelines.
• Assist and collaborate with Clinical Reimbursement Specialist on onboarding of new MDSC.
• Exhibit competency in all areas of the RAI, care planning, PPS, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines when applicable.
