Job summary

Signature HealthCARE seeks a highly organized MDS float nurse (RN or LPN) to cover open positions and travel Monday–Friday across KY, TN, IN and NC. The role requires 3+ years of MDS experience in long-term care, with full travel and overnight stays as needed.

You will implement RAI programs, PPS, QM measures, and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, collaborating with Clinical Reimbursement. Mileage and lodging are reimbursed, supporting a mission of quality resident care and compliance.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and organized candidate with the ability to be bedside for resident assessment.
• Minimum of 3 years MDS experience in long-term care.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% with overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide MDS coverage for open positions and educate on RAI, PPS, QM’s, Medicaid Casemix, and Medicare guidelines.
• Collaborate with Clinical Reimbursement Specialist on onboarding of new MDSC.
• Demonstrate competency in RAI, Care Planning, PPS, Medicare, and Medicaid Case Mix when applicable.
