Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a very detail-oriented MDS float nurse to provide resident assessment coverage across multiple centers. The role requires extensive travel Monday–Friday, with overnight stays as needed, to support RAI, PPS, QM’s, Medicaid casemix and Medicare guidelines for all SHC facilities.

The ideal candidate holds current RN or LPN licensure with multi-state eligibility, plus at least three years of MDS experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as RN or LPN and ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
• Minimum of three (3) years MDS experience in a long-term care setting.
• Travel to centers up to 100% of the time with overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide MDS coverage for open positions, educate and implement programs that apply to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), PPS, QM’s, Medicaid Casemix and Medicare guidelines for all SHC stakeholders.
• Assist and collaborate with Clinical Reimbursement Specialist with onboarding of new MDSC.
• Exhibit competency in all areas of the RAI, Care Planning, PPS, Medicare, and when applicable Medicaid Case Mix
