Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in New Haven, CT. The role requires ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications, 2+ years of mammography experience, and experience with Hologic and Siemens equipment.

The technologist will float across four sites, perform 3D, diagnostic, and screening mammography, work day shifts (8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 12:00 PM–8:30 PM), and cover occasional Saturdays. Travel experience and trauma center experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mammography experience.
• ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active state license prior to start date; license required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D, diagnostic, and screening mammography.
• Operate and troubleshoot Hologic 3D and Siemens equipment.
• Document in Epic and coordinate with inpatient and outpatient teams.
• Float between four sites: Shoreline Medical Center, North Haven Medical Center, Long Wharf Medical Center, Smilow Cancer Hospital.
