Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in New Haven, Connecticut. This 13-week, 40-hour per week position includes 8-hour day shifts, with occasional evenings and Saturdays as scheduled.

You will float among four sites, perform 3D and digital mammography, and use Hologic 3D and Siemens equipment. ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications with BLS are required, plus an active state license before start.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of mammography experience required.
• ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required; BLS required.
• Active state license required prior to start date.
• Experience with Hologic 3D equipment required; Siemens equipment experience preferred.
• Epic charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D, digital, diagnostic and screening mammography.
• Float among four sites: Shoreline Medical Center, North Haven Medical Center, Long Wharf Medical Center, and Smilow Cancer Hospital.
• Operate Hologic 3D and Siemens mammography equipment.
• Document using Epic charting system.
• Work 40 hours per week, with shifts 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 12:00–8:30 PM and every other Saturday shift.
