MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in New Haven, Connecticut. The role features a 40-hour workweek, day shifts, and travel reimbursement through a reputable staffing agency.

Requirements include completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology program, state registration, ARRT certification, and preferred Mammographic Technologist experience, ideally in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Two years of Mammographic Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized mammography examinations and assist Radiologist with complex studies.
• Produce high quality mammography films for interpretation.
• Educate patients about the exam and prep.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment with timely, compassionate care.
• Promote a safe work environment complying with safety initiatives.
