Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in New Haven, CT. The Mammo Tech will operate mammography units, ensure image quality, and forward studies to radiologists for interpretation.

Requirements include 1 year of mammography experience, ARRT (M) certification with mammography registration, ARRT (R) certification, and BLS, with state licensing as required. 40 hours per week, 8-hour rotating shifts, travel position.

Qualifications

• 1 year of mammography experience.
• ARRT (M) certification with registration in mammography.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and conduct mammography study to produce quality images.
• Develop and forward mammograms to radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain patient records and ensure safe work environment.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
