Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. The role requires 1 year of experience, ARRT (M) certification with mammography registration, and state licensing as needed.

The travel position runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week. You will operate the mammography unit, ensure image quality, and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• ARRT (M) certification with mammography registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography unit and ensure image accuracy for interpretation.
• Identify patients, review requests, and explain procedures to provide comfort.
• Interpret instructions, perform study and adjust for optimum results.
• Develop and review mammograms, retake if needed, and forward to radiologist.
• Maintain safe work environment and accurate patient records.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system for image management.
