Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Milton, Massachusetts. The position is a 13-week duration with 40 hours per week on day shifts, travel employment.

The Mammo Tech will operate the mammography unit, ensure image quality, and forward studies to radiologists for interpretation. Must have 1 year of experience, ARRT (M) certification with mammography registration, and BLS; state licensing as required.

• 1 year of experience as Mammography Technologist.
• ARRT (M) certification with registration in mammography and BLS.
• State-specific licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' instructions for imaging.
• Perform mammography studies and ensure quality of images.
• Develop, review, and forward mammograms to radiologists.
• Maintain safe work environment and accurate patient records.
• Understand and use McKesson PACS workflow.
