Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Boston, MA is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 26-week assignment. The Mammo Tech will operate mammography units, ensure image accuracy, and forward studies to radiologists for interpretation.

Requirements include ARRT (M) with registration, BLS, and state licensing as needed. The position offers weekly pay, benefits, and a tax-free stipend as applicable. Readiness for on-site work and ability to stand for long periods are needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as Mammography Technologist.
• BLS certified and ARRT (M) certification with registration in mammography.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ease anxiety.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and perform mammography studies.
• Develop mammograms and ensure image quality per standards.
• Retake and forward studies to radiologists for interpretation.
