Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in Velva, ND seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for a PRN nursing role in long-term care. Provides professional nursing care under supervision, supports the care plan, and works with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting resident data, and responding to emergent situations. Requires an LPN license (ND) with possible IV therapy training per state requirements. Travel to nearby locations may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and be licensed as an LPN.
• ND IV therapy/management training per requirements for the state.
• Minimum 3 months experience in Long Term Care; 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; document care and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and communicate effectively.
• Ensure resident safety and confidentiality; assist in care planning.
