Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Good Samaritan Society provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care, under supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Demonstrates knowledge, administers medications, documents outcomes and supports an interdisciplinary care team.

Requires an accredited LPN program graduate, and North Dakota licensure. Travel to nearby locations and shift premiums apply; position offers PRN scheduling in the Bismarck area.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• Minimum 18 years of age and willingness to travel within a 75-mile radius.
• Pre-licensure clinical experience or equivalent; IV therapy credentials if required in ND.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and monitor resident status.
• Document care data and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
