Job summary

Good Samaritan invites applications for an LPN in Velva, ND. The role provides nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under RN/physician supervision, and requires the ability to administer medications and respond in emergent situations.

Position is PRN with at least 30 hours per month, one weekend per month, and travel to multiple locations within a 75-mile radius. Salary ranges from $24.00 to $36.00 per hour with premium pay and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months experience in Long Term Care (6 months preferred).
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN; associate degree preferred.
• If IV therapy/management is required in ND, complete an ND Board-approved IV therapy program or course.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long term care under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments; ensure health, comfort and safety of residents; document outcomes.
