Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting in Mandan, ND. You will work under supervision with a registered nurse, administer medications and treatments, and support residents’ health and safety per care plans.

This PRN role requires a valid LPN license, at least 3 months of long-term care experience, and the ability to work at least 30 hours per month, including one weekend shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program. Associate degree preferred.
• If IV therapy/management is required in ND, completion of an approved IV therapy course or AASPN program is needed.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide medications and treatments as ordered.
• Demonstrate nursing competencies and maintain the health and safety of residents.
• Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care provided.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team and communicate with residents, families, and staff.
