The schedule includes evenings (14:00–22:00) with weekend coverage on an every‑other‑weekend basis. Travelers must reside more than 75 miles away; RTO rules apply.

Qualifikationen

• Current NY LPN license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR/charting experience required
• Experience with 1:10 patient ratios
• Skilled in wound care, wound vac management, IV therapy, PICC line care, and nephrostomy care
• Experience with orthopedic and cardiac post‑procedure care

Aufgaben

• Work in a 41-bed short-term rehabilitation unit within a skilled nursing facility/nursing home setting
• Patient population includes post‑orthopedic and cardiac procedure patients, wound care, hypertension, CHF, and renal failure cases
• Specialized procedures include wound care, wound vac management, IV therapy, PICC lines, and nephrostomy care
• Patient ratios are 1:8 days, 1:20 nights, and 1:10 weekends
• Evening shift schedule of 5x8 hours (1400-2200)
• Weekend coverage required on an every-other-weekend (EOW) basis
• May be required to float to other units based on facility need
• Epic EMR experience required
• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and monitoring of patients recovering from orthopedic and cardiac procedures
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates with more than 10 days of requested time off (RTO) will not be considered
• Previous employees must have at least a 6-month break in service system-wide to be eligible for rehire
