American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an LPN for an inpatient rehabilitation unit. Active LPN license, BLS, and hospital rehab experience are required. Night shifts, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM, weekends, with a 36-hour weekly guarantee.

Responsibilities include direct patient care for adults with stroke, brain injury, and orthopedic injuries in a 40-bed unit; Cerner EMR is used; scrubs color is royal blue; travel position excludes license restrictions and non-local candidates beyond 50 miles.

Competenze

Active LPN license required if applicable.
Current BLS certification required (AHA only).
1-2 years of experience required, with 2 years recent specialty experience preferred.
Hospital experience required.
Rehab experience preferred.
Minimum ADN-level education for LPN.
Critical thinking skills required.
Must be fully vaccinated for flu and COVID with no exceptions.
US SSN required for consideration; Canadian SSN not accepted.
Explanation required for any gaps in work history of 3 months or more.

Mansioni

Work in a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital serving patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
12-14 bed rehab nursing unit with patient ratios of 1:7 RN, 1:10 LPN, and 1:12 tech
Patient population includes adults age 18 and older with common diagnoses including amputee, stroke, and hip/knee replacements
Onsite equipment includes EKG machine and bladder scanner
Uses Cerner EMR
Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Friday through Sunday, every weekend
36-hour weekly guaranteed schedule over an 8-week assignment
Provide direct patient care within a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program
Royal blue scrubs required
Does not accept candidates with any license restrictions or disciplinary history
Local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted for this travel position
