Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced LPN for a travel assignment in Dubuque, IA, at a long-term care facility. You will deliver patient-centered care, manage chronic conditions, and support residents to maintain safety and quality of life.

The role offers a Day Shift, full-time Travel Contract with weekly pay of $1,378 and dedicated local support in Dubuque. Requires 1+ year LTC/SNF experience and Iowa LPN licensure with BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Current, unencumbered LPN license in the State of Iowa (or active Compact/NLC state license).
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
• Minimum 1+ years of long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with healthcare teams and families; proficiency in EHR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, wound care, and routine nursing procedures per care plans.
• Continually assess health changes and promptly communicate updates to RNs, physicians, and families.
• Collaborate with CNAs, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to assist with ADLs and rehab goals.
• Maintain accurate resident records in the EHR system per safety standards.
