Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Dubuque, IA is seeking an experienced Travel LPN to provide person-centered care in a long-term care setting during night shifts. You will perform routine assessments, medication administration, and daily nursing duties within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has an Iowa LPN license (or compact), BLS/CPR certification, and at least 1 year of long-term care experience. This travel/contract role offers a night schedule and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
Active LPN license in the State of Iowa (or a valid Compact/Multistate LPN license).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
1+ years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
Shift: Night shift 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
Excellent communication with families and multidisciplinary team; proficient in EHR documentation.

Responsibilities

Monitor vital signs, conduct routine assessments, and administer medications with EHR documentation.
Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other routine procedures per care plans.
Promptly communicate changes in resident condition to RNs, physicians, and resident families.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support rehabilitation activities as directed.
Maintain accurate medical records and follow facility safety protocols.
