MORE ABOUT THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE:

Our responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care tasks.
• Providing nursing functions under supervision, including vital signs, documenting care, and reporting changes.
• Preparing residents for meals, assisting with feeding, and recording intake.
• Maintaining resident confidentiality, dignity, and rights, and reporting incidents promptly.
• Performing basic nursing procedures, medication administration, and limited IV therapy as delegated.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and staff, and participating in staff development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC
• Licensed by the State Board of Nursing
