Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 12-week travel assignment in San Leandro, CA. The nurse will provide comprehensive obstetric care, monitor maternal and fetal status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires 1 year of L&D experience, an active RN license, and BLS/NRP certifications. Offering 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with competitive compensation and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Current RN license in state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP Certification required or equivalent
• Preferred: AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Preferred: STABLE and ACLS Certifications

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health and administer treatments.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members.
• Monitor labor and delivery progress and respond to emergencies.
• Document care and interventions in the medical record.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during delivery and cesarean sections.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
