Job summary

TotalMed RN is actively seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse for a Richmond, Virginia assignment. The role runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Ideal candidates will have ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP certifications and at least 3 years of recent acute care experience. This travel position offers the chance to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced obstetric setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of acute care experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP certifications required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor and contractions and support patient breathing techniques.
• Assist physicians with delivery procedures and use of delivery instruments when needed.
• Provide immediate care to newborn and monitor patient post-delivery.
• Maintain patient beds, cleanliness and safety, handling fluids as part of birthing process.
