Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery in Florida. Requires minimum 1 year L&D experience and prior travel nursing experience. Active FL or compact RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications is required, plus completion of the EFM course before starting.

Expect 36 hours weekly on a 12-hour night shift (7p-7a) with a 6-weekend rotation and intra-Women's Services floating. Vaccination card or approved declination is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active FL or compact RN license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Must successfully pass the unit-proctored EFM course prior to starting, with a 6-month waiting period before retesting if unsuccessful.
• COVID-19 vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit within Women's Services.
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a.
• 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule.
• Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week period.
• Floating required within Women's Services.
• No on-call requirements.
• Provide direct patient care within the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers with no radius restriction.
• Former permanent employees must have a 90-day break in service before returning as a traveler.
