Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Labor and Delivery travel nurse in Dickson, TN for an ASAP start. This 13-week assignment requires 3 years of acute care experience in L&D, ACLS/BLS/NRP/AWHONN, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Expect 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and a tax-free stipend accompanying the pay package. As an L&D travel RN, you will collaborate with physicians during deliveries, monitor labor, support patient needs, and assist with newborn care.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience in labor/delivery.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required.
• Travel assignment in Dickson, TN with 12-hour day shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor laboring patients and assist when needed.
• Assist physicians with epidurals, pain medications, and cesarean prep as required.
• Provide immediate newborn care and support mother-baby transition.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient rooms and equipment.
