Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA seeks a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Dickson, TN. Start date 09/24/2026 for 13 weeks, 36 hours weekly, with 12-hour days and nights. Must handle labor, delivery, and newborn transition, and manage OB emergencies.

Certifications include BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring training. Advanced skills: fetal monitoring, inductions; unit procedures include C-sections, circumcisions, intrauterine monitoring, and assisted deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must have labor and delivery experience including ability to labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn including assessment.
• Experience with shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and other OB emergencies preferred.
• Advanced skills include fetal monitoring education and inductions (Pitocin, Cervidil).
• Procedures performed: C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, vacuum or forceps deliveries.
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring training.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor support and monitor both mother and newborn during labor and delivery.
• Assist in C-sections and assisted deliveries as needed on unit.
• Perform fetal monitoring and respond to OB emergencies promptly.
