ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with Labor and Delivery expertise for a travel assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. The candidate will provide care from antepartum to postpartum, including labor, delivery, and couplet care responsibilities.

This 13-week contract features 12-hour night shifts (18:45–07:15) with 36 hours per week, and requires RN licensure plus certifications such as BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate. ACLS and AWHONN Advanced are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Current RN licensure and required certifications (AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP).
• Experience circulating in the OR for C-sections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for labor patients and couplets, including LDRP nursing.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and PACU recovery.
• Administer IV therapy and medications as required.
• Perform fetal monitoring and antepartum/postpartum assessments.
• Support breastfeeding and provide discharge education to new parents.
• Participate in call schedule based on census needs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Labor and Delivery. This position requires the ability to provide comprehensive care from antepartum to postpartum stages, including both Labor and Delivery and couplet care responsibilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in various procedures and possess strong clinical judgment in both labor and postpartum settings.

Responsibilities
