Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Salem, Virginia. The role requires OB experience, current certifications, and a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week on a night shift.

The nurse will care for labor, delivery, postpartum and newborns in a fast-paced maternity unit, collaborating with midwives and obstetric teams to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have OB experience.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN.
• Preferred experience as a cesarean section circulator, first assistant, or scrub.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during labor and delivery, including cesarean sections.
• Offer postpartum care and newborn care, adhering to best practices.
• Perform OBED triage and patient inductions as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including midwives.
