Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Towson, Maryland. The role requires 3 years of acute care experience and shifts are 12 hours at night for 36 hours per week.

Ultimately you will monitor labor, assist physicians with procedures, and provide newborn care as part of a fast-paced team. This travel opportunity offers a tax-free stipend and per diem as applicable.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• BLS, NIH, NRP, EFM certifications required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assist physicians during epidurals, cesarean prep, and delivery.
• Provide immediate newborn care and support.
