ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Towson, Maryland. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights.
The RN will assess and manage care, develop care plans, educate patients, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Active Maryland RN license, BLS/ACLS, EFM and NIHSS certifications preferred; travel experience a plus.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent high volume Labor and Delivery experience.
- Must be willing to obtain Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certification within 48 hours if offered.
- Must be willing to obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification within 48 hours if offered.
- Current Maryland RN license, with verification dated within the last 30 days.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Active Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
- Active NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- COVID vaccination required, with state record verification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal care to patients.
