Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Brooklyn, Maryland. This LD RN role requires 3 years of recent acute care experience and L&D certification readiness. You will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift as a travel nurse.

Responsibilities include monitoring labor, assisting with obstetric procedures, and providing newborn care. Benefits and travel stipends are commonly offered through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• L&D nursing certifications (BLS, NRP, EFM, STABLE) are required.
• Travel nursing assignment in Brooklyn, MD with 36 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor and support patient during delivery.
• Assist physicians with epidurals, delivery procedures and cesarean preparation.
• Provide immediate newborn care and monitor mother and baby post-delivery.
