Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Santa Maria, California. The right RN should have 3 years' recent acute care experience and be available for an immediate assignment.

This 13-week travel role is 36 hours per week with 12-hour rotating shifts. You will support labor, delivery and immediate newborn care, assist physicians with epidurals and cesarean prep, and maintain patient safety in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mother during labor and contractions.
• Assist with delivery and newborn care as needed.
• Support physicians during epidurals or cesarean prep.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the birthing area.
